Reports To: Anchorage Data Center Manager


Primary Functions: Act as a primary administrator for the organization's user identity lifecycle to include the adds, deletes, and changes of permissions, entitlements, and business roles. Works with application and data owners to ensure users have the appropriate level of access and the required approvals are documented for a positive audit trail. Operate in a fashion that supports the IT Operations mission to exercise a leadership role in maintaining, operating, and providing Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) for the credit union and its subsidiary operations.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Validate and complete all user access requests to include addition, maintenance and deletion of users and access rights for the organization, its subsidiaries, authorized third parties and vendors. Maintain appropriate supporting documentation for all actions.
  2. Compete user related software installations.
  3. Complete user access modifications for phone and voice mail systems.
  4. Develop current knowledge of the organization and its daily operations, services, procedures and policies, including technical applications and functions needed to support users in their work. Be familiar with role based access provisioning and able to assist business units to identify appropriate roles for users.
  5. Monitor request and email queues to ensure approved modifications are fulfilled in accordance with defined service level agreements.
  6. Take ownership for quality of work and fulfilling end user service requirements.
  7. Make effective use of office resources such as ServiceNow, Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix, various databases and reports, third party applications/technical guides, and internal user and procedure manuals.
  8. Function as EUAC for Fedline and GFX users.
  9. Adhere to organization and departmental policy, procedure and standards, and conduct oneself in a manner that displays professionalism and promotes cooperation, trust and confidence.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.


Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.


Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent technical training and/or work experience


Experience/Skills: Minimum of six months prior user access management experience with emphasis on enterprise directories (Active Directory, LDAP, SCCM etc.) and IT architecture concepts. Strong organizational and documentation skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot access related issues; Minimum of one year professional customer service experience; Be able to effectively and efficiently control and prioritize multiple work orders/assignments; proficient in the use of office applications,; Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously; Be innovative and possess ability to think out of the box; Keen attention to detail; Written and verbal communication is accurate, timely, courteous and effective; Ability to work in a team environment in order to accomplish common goals and objectives; Strong initiative, high energy level and excellent time management; Ability to work successfully with minimal supervision; Strong listening skills and outgoing, dynamic personality. This position requires criminal background investigation.

Position requires extended periods of sitting. Minimal travel may be required


Tenure: Assignment to the User Access Management Analyst I category 11, User Access Management Analyst II category 10, or User Access Management Analyst III category 09 will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and overall performance.
