Reports To: Senior Facilities Project Manager
Primary Functions: Responsible for project/contract scope development, coordination, oversight and closeout, space utilization and tracking, and vendor management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related degree
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent in project management, planning and contract management of construction or facilities management
Experience/Skills: Five years experience in project controls and coordination. Must have excellent project management skills. Strong knowledge of building systems. Strong background and knowledge of contracting procedures. Strong written, oral and organizational skills. Adept at conducting technical research into project related issues, products and services. Ability to use project scheduling software. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, other departments and vendors. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment is crucial. This position requires a valid driver's license, acceptable and insurable driving record, pre-employment and random drug testing. Computer aided design experience desired. Some travel required.
